PenD Games

Privacy policy

Last updated 18 September 2026

This policy explains what PenD Games and its partners collect when you play our games, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to every PenD Games app published on Google Play.

PenD Games is the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us at support@pendgames.com.

What stays on your device

Most of what our games store never leaves your phone. That includes your high scores, progress, unlocked modes, sound and settings preferences, and — in games with a photo mode — any photo you choose from your camera or gallery. Photos are cropped and used as an in-game image on your device only. We do not upload them, we never see them, and deleting the game deletes them.

Our games do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or contacts.

Advertising

Our games show ads supplied by Google AdMob. To serve and measure those ads, AdMob collects information from your device, which may include your Android advertising ID, IP address, device model and operating system version, coarse location inferred from your IP address, and data about which ads you were shown and whether you interacted with them.

Google acts as an independent controller for this data. Its practices are described in the Google privacy policy and in how Google uses data from AdMob partners.

You can limit this at any time in your phone's settings, under Settings → Privacy → Ads, where Android lets you delete or reset your advertising ID and opt out of personalised advertising.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how our games are played — which modes people open, where they stop playing, how often crashes happen, and which devices need attention. This tells us what to fix and what to build next.

The data involved includes an app instance identifier, device model and operating system version, language and country, app version, and records of in-game events such as starting a round or finishing a game. We see it as aggregated statistics. We do not use it to identify you as an individual, and we do not sell it or combine it with any other data.

Crash reporting

When a game crashes, a report may be sent to Google containing the technical state of the app at the time — device model, operating system version, app version, and a stack trace. We use these reports only to fix faults.

Your choices about consent

If you are in the UK or the European Economic Area, you will see a consent screen the first time you open one of our games, asking whether you agree to personalised ads and analytics. It is provided through Google's User Messaging Platform. You can change your answer at any time from the privacy or settings option inside the game. Declining personalised ads does not stop you playing; you will see non-personalised ads instead.

Legal bases

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for personalised advertising and for analytics. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping our games working and secure for crash reporting and for serving non-personalised ads. You can withdraw consent at any time, and doing so does not affect processing that happened before you withdrew it.

How long data is kept

Data held on your device stays until you delete it or uninstall the game. Data held by Google for advertising, analytics, and crash reporting is retained according to Google's own retention schedules, which are set out in the policies linked above.

Children

Our games are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Where a game is made available to younger players through Google Play's family programmes, advertising is restricted to non-personalised ads and content rated as suitable. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, email support@pendgames.com and we will delete it.

International transfers

Our advertising and analytics partners process data on servers outside the UK, including in the United States. Those transfers are covered by the safeguards Google puts in place, such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data held about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict its processing, to withdraw consent, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email support@pendgames.com and we will respond within 30 days. Because our games have no accounts, please tell us which game you played and roughly when, so we can pass the request on to the right provider.

If you are in the UK, you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. In the EEA, you can complain to your national data protection authority.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling a game removes everything it stored on your device. For data held by our advertising and analytics partners, follow the steps on our support page.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Significant changes will also be noted in the game's update description on Google Play.
